Our Mission
In 1982 we started Adopt A Family because we saw a need to bring a little Christmas hope to the underprivileged children of our community.
Our purpose is to reach out to struggling families in need of help during the holiday season. Once these families meet our qualifications we purchase, wrap and distribute gifts to the children in the family.
We are a non-profit 501 (c) 3 corporation that gets no government funding. Local organizations, businesses and donors generously supply our (tax deductible) funding. In 2010, thanks to people like you, we were able to make Christmas a little brighter for 1,600 families by giving over 18,000 Christmas gifts to 4,800 children.
